I finished the two signature blocks for the guild's President's Quilt. They made a point of emphasizing that fabrics that READ red and black are fine to use - I hope mine aren't too solid against others that might not be so dark!
The directions included not trimming them - I assume that is to account for variations in seam allowances. The blocks appear to be 8" finished.
I've asked someone from the guild if I'm supposed to sign just my name, or write a message - once I hear back, I'll get them done and have half of #5 on my January GID list finished.
