School Bus Top

Son L designed this top with some leftover pieces - the goal being to use up the school bus fabric.  Did pretty well with that goal, as there was about .25" x 5" left when we were done!

The top is pieced and will go in the "to-tie" pile:

I particularly like how he turned the yellow stripe on each side, so it points toward the center line.  My job was to keep the school buses all facing the same way - 8 ripped seams later, I managed to achieve them all right side up!
