Stashbusting Report 2010-06-20

This is the second make-up Stash Report.  This was a great week, because I logged in the backs and bindings for 6 lap quilts from our Memorial Day Sewing Weekend, meaning that we got the hand-sewing on the bindings done this week.  So now I can show all 13 of the quilts that were worked on as part of this year's Project Linus Sewing Weekend for Mom, Sis, and me!

First, the four that were this year's quilt - these were completely done on this weekend (except hand-sewing the binding, which is allowed to carry into the following weeks).  We went with theme-and-variations on the four-patch again: no two are exactly the same:

Sis Annie is the champion tie-er.  Once we realized that it takes a long time for us to have one blanket ready for her to tie, I started making some tops ahead of time for her to work - a good deal for all since it helps me get stash busted and keeps her busy so she isn't bugging us to hurry up!  So here are the quilts that were our 'bonus' finishes:

(Sorry that some of them are turned the wrong way - I have NO idea how to stop Blogger from doing that!)

THIRTEEN QUILTS TOTAL for Project Linus!

So this week's stash report is great:
Added this week: 0
Added YTD: 37.1 yds

Used this week (backs and bindings for 6 of the 'bonus' quilts): 8.88 yds
Used YTD: 52 yds

Net bust: 14.9 yds
