This is turning out to be one of those projects that looks totally different than I envisioned it - and I Really Like the way it's coming out! When I picked the fabrics, I wasn't sure what it would look like but I liked the idea of participating in something that would keep me moving along, and using up fabric. But I love how the blue print looks like swirls.
Lucas had fun helping me lay out the blocks, then decided he wanted to be in the picture, too. Danielle had spent a good 20 minutes playing with some of the scraps one day, while I was trying to do some cutting - she just kept laying them out in different patterns. I like that they are both having fun being sewing buddies with me.
