I'm slowly knocking out some finishes - still focused on using up the big fabrics (fleece and flannel) that sew up quickly.
First up is a fleece blanket I designed based on having a piece of this red/black stripe, and some leftover black:
It finished about 45 x 49, and completely used up the stripe. Has a black backing (I was thinking of an older boy for this) and quilted in the ditch, just enough to keep it together - being fleece, I didn't figure it needed a ton of stitching.
And also three more flannel blankies are done:
Close ups of some of the fabric (looking at that orange-peel fabric almost makes me dizzy!)
