Block for the Guild's President Quilt

All the members of the guild were asked to make an Irish Chain block for the quilt for this year's president.  I was a little behind on mine, but wanted to get it in because I think she is doing a great job.  We had our choice of color so I went with blue, since I have plenty of it.  Then I read the directions that said "country blues" - not something I have.  I ended up buying one new fabric, and hoping it works with a second one that I pulled out of the stash, completed the block, and got it mailed off just in time:

I did sign it before mailing it.  Can't wait to see the finished product!
