L and I were getting ready to go the Charity Sewing day at my guild back in February. Our plan was to work on a patriotic/veteran's quilt from the kits they had, but I wanted to take something else just in case I needed a different project to work on.
I cut the pieces for this basketball quilt - I'm sewing framed squares and then assembling them alternating. Not terribly fancy, but hopefully appealing to a child, and it gives lots of chances for L to help with ironing, which he likes!
We made a little progress on it, so this is one more partially finished project now sitting on my sewing table....
